Asphalt Repair
Patching and pothole repair done with proper base prep, so the fix lasts instead of failing by spring.
Why It Matters
Why asphalt fails here
Idaho pavement takes a beating, freeze-thaw, water, summer heat, and traffic all team up on it. Small cracks let water into the base, the base softens, and the surface collapses into a pothole.
We fix the cause, not just the hole
Potholes, alligator cracking, crumbling edges, and low spots all trace back to a failing base, so that's where a lasting repair starts.

Our Repairs
A patch is only as good as its base
Cheap patches fail because crews skip the prep. We don’t. We cut out the failed asphalt down to a sound edge, then repair and compact the base before any new asphalt goes in.
Built to hold
Fresh hot mix is placed in lifts and compacted tight, so the patch lasts years, not months.

FAQ
Questions we hear a lot
What causes potholes?
Water gets through a crack into the base, freezes and expands, and the weakened surface collapses under traffic. Sealing cracks early prevents most of them.
Is patching permanent?
A full-depth patch with proper base prep lasts for years. Skipping base prep is exactly why cheap patches fail fast.
Full-depth or surface patch?
It depends on whether the base failed. We assess and recommend the repair that actually lasts, not just the cheapest one.
How soon can I drive on a patch?
Usually within a day, depending on the method and weather. We’ll tell you before we leave.
Should I patch or replace?
If the base is mostly sound, patching saves money. If it’s failed across a large area, we’ll tell you honestly when replacement is the better value.
